MY STORY
For years I felt stuck, frustrated. Over-burdened. Despite my success as a TV writer. Therapy helped some, but it tended to keep me up in my head. For me, this was the problem. Diving into this lineage of men’s embodiment work has transformed every aspect of my life.
Bringing online the wisdom of the body, I make better decisions. I show up with more presence. I am more trustable to the people I love. And to myself.
Though these teachings are not widely available, they should be. Because this doesn’t feel like an esoteric journey to some remote mountain. It’s a return to birthright, a rediscovery of innate wisdom and trustability that’s been here all along.
“Look, I’m just a guy like other guys, trying to do right, feel love, find meaning and purpose. But, for decades, I had no idea how lost I was in my thoughts — or how dangerous that territory is. Nor did I realize how lonely I was, thinking I had to figure it out all by myself.
Finding men’s embodiment work has solved both those problems at a deeper level than I could have imagined. My teachers told me that it feels like coming home to a true self. That’s definitely been my experience. They also said you’ll never be perfect: it’s a lifetime process. Also true.
And yeah, these teachings demand rigor, commitment, leaning into edges — “holding the pose,” as we say. But it’s also fuckloads of fun. It’s so important to me that I set aside time from a successful Hollywood career to bring this work to men who feel called to it.”
